中国音乐学院副教授，青年三弦演奏家，中国音乐家协会会员，中国民族和弦乐协会会员。他在近二十年的教学实践中先后培养了多名专来三弦演员，并在各文艺团体中发挥着重要作用。先后出访法国、美国、日本、新加坡等十几个国家以及港、澳、台地区，是目前最出色的三弦演奏家之一。
